Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, head to Seoraksan National Park from Sokcho. From Sokcho, take National Route 46 and follow the signs for Seoraksan National Park. Once you reach the park entrance, you will need to pay an entrance fee (approximately 3,500 KRW per person). After entering the park, park your car at the Seoraksan National Park Visitor Center parking lot. The trailhead to Daecheongbong Peak is accessible from here.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Seoraksan National Park using public transport, take a bus from Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal to the Seoraksan National Park entrance. The bus ride is approximately 30 minutes and costs around 1,500 KRW. Upon arrival at the park entrance, pay the entrance fee of about 3,500 KRW per person. After entering the park, walk to the Seoraksan National Park Visitor Center, where you will find the trailhead for Daecheongbong Peak.
