Car
If you're traveling by car from Seoraksan National Park to Sokcho Lighthouse, start by exiting the national park through the main entrance. Head south on Dongmyeong-ro (Route 7) for about 15 km. After approximately 10 minutes of driving, you will reach the city of Sokcho. Look for signs indicating 'Yeonggeumjeong-ro' as you approach the coast. Turn left onto Yeonggeumjeong-ro and continue for about 3 km. The lighthouse will be on your right, located at 8-28 Yeonggeumjeong-ro 5-gil. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Sokcho Lighthouse using public transportation, first take a bus from Seoraksan National Park to Sokcho city. The Bus No. 7 or No. 9 operates from the Seoraksan National Park entrance to Sokcho, with a fare of approximately 1,500 KRW. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal, you can take a taxi to Sokcho Lighthouse for around 5,000 KRW, or you can walk for about 25 minutes by heading south on Cheongchoho 1-ro and then turn left onto Yeonggeumjeong-ro. The lighthouse is located at 8-28 Yeonggeumjeong-ro 5-gil, approximately 2 km from the bus terminal.
