Car
If you are traveling by car, head out from the main entrance of Seoraksan National Park. Follow the road towards Sokcho and take Route 46. Continue on this road for about 15 km until you reach Domun-dong in Sokcho-si. Look for signs directing you to Hagmujeong. Once you reach the area, follow local parking signs. Parking may incur a fee of around 2,000 KRW per hour.

Public Transportation
To reach Hagmujeong via public transportation, start at the Seoraksan National Park Visitor Center. Take a local bus (Bus No. 7 or 7-1) heading towards Sokcho. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around 1,200 KRW. Once you arrive at the Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal, transfer to a local city bus (Bus No. 1) that goes to Domun-dong. Get off at the Hagmujeong stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the site.

Walking
If you are already in Sokcho and wish to walk to Hagmujeong, start from the Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal. Head east on Byeonggang-ro toward the coast. Continue walking for about 1.5 km until you reach the Hagmujeong area. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes and will allow you to enjoy the local scenery.
