Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Seoraksan National Park via Route 46. Once you enter the park, follow the signs for Towangseong Falls. The observatory is located near the entrance of the park. There is a parking area available close to the observatory. Please note that there might be an entrance fee for the national park, which is typically around 3,000 KRW for adults and 1,500 KRW for children (prices may vary).
Public Transportation
To reach Towangseong Falls Observatory using public transportation, take a bus from Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal to Seoraksan National Park. Look for the bus that specifically stops at the park entrance. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can either walk or take a shuttle bus (if available) to the observatory, which is a short distance away. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as it may vary by season.
Walking
If you are already within Seoraksan National Park, walking to Towangseong Falls Observatory is straightforward. From the main visitor center, follow the marked trails which lead directly to the observatory. The walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, and be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
