If you are driving to Cheondang Falls, start by entering Seoraksan National Park through the main entrance at 'Seorak-dong'. Once inside the park, follow the signs toward the 'Cheondang Falls' trailhead. The road is well-marked, and it will take approximately 30 minutes to reach the trailhead parking area. Be aware that there may be an entrance fee of approximately 3,000 KRW per person for entering the national park. After parking, follow the designated walking path leading to Cheondang Falls, which is about a 20-minute walk from the parking area.

To reach Cheondang Falls using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Sokcho city center to Seoraksan National Park. Buses run frequently from the Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal, with a ticket costing around 2,000 KRW. Once you arrive at the park entrance, look for the shuttle bus that operates within the park. The shuttle will take you to the 'Cheondang Falls' trailhead. The shuttle ride may cost an additional fee of about 1,000 KRW. After disembarking, follow the clearly marked walking path for approximately 20 minutes to reach the falls.
