If you are traveling by car to Seoraksan National Park in Seorak-dong, Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do, start by navigating to the nearest expressway. The nearest major highway is the Donghae Expressway (Expressway 50). Take the exit toward Sokcho and continue on Route 7, which leads directly to the park entrance. Upon arriving, you will see signs indicating the entrance to Seoraksan National Park. There is a parking fee of approximately 2,000 KRW (Korean Won) for regular vehicles.

Public Transportation - Bus
If you're using public transportation, take an intercity bus from Seoul to Sokcho. Buses leave frequently from the Seoul Express Bus Terminal and take about 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at Sokcho Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus (Bus 7 or 7-1) that heads to Seoraksan National Park. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. The fare for the local bus is around 1,200 KRW. Make sure to get off at the Seoraksan National Park entrance stop.

For a more direct approach, you can take a taxi from Sokcho to Seoraksan National Park. This option is more expensive but offers convenience, especially if you're traveling with luggage or in a group. The taxi ride will take around 20 minutes, and the fare typically ranges from 15,000 KRW to 20,000 KRW, depending on traffic conditions.
