Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are near a subway station, take Line 3 (the Orange Line) and head towards the 'Gyeongbokgung Station.' Once you arrive at Gyeongbokgung Station, take Exit 2. After exiting, walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by the Gyeongbokgung Palace on your left. Continue walking, and when you reach the intersection with Samcheong-ro, turn left. The MMCA will be on your right at 30 Samcheong-ro.

  • Bus

    Find the nearest bus stop and catch either Bus 7212 or Bus 1020. Both buses will take you to 'Gyeongbokgung Palace' bus stop. After getting off the bus, walk towards the Gyeongbokgung Palace. As you approach the palace, head towards the left side, and you will see Samcheong-ro. Continue walking straight, and in a few minutes, you will arrive at the MMCA located at 30 Samcheong-ro.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the vicinity of the Jongno area, you can walk to the MMCA. From Insadong, walk towards the direction of the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Once you reach the palace, turn left and head towards Samcheong-ro. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will find the MMCA at 30 Samcheong-ro on your right.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer to take a taxi, simply tell the driver 'MMCA' or 'Seoul National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art' and provide the address: 30 Samcheong-ro, Jongno District. Taxis are widely available and can easily navigate to the museum.
