To reach The National Folk Museum of Korea via subway, start by making your way to Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3, the Orange Line). Once you arrive at Gyeongbokgung Station, take Exit 5. After exiting, walk straight for about 500 meters. You'll see the impressive Gyeongbokgung Palace on your right. Continue walking straight, and you will reach The National Folk Museum of Korea, which is located within the palace grounds.

If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch Bus No. 1020, 1711, or 406 from various locations in Seoul. Make sure to board the bus heading towards Gyeongbokgung Palace. Once you arrive at the Gyeongbokgung Palace stop, disembark and walk towards the palace entrance. The National Folk Museum is located inside the palace grounds, just a short walk from the entrance.

If you're in the vicinity of Insadong, you can walk to The National Folk Museum of Korea. From Insadong, head north on Insadong-gil street until you reach the main road, then turn left onto Samcheong-ro. Continue walking straight for about 800 meters, and you will see the entrance to Gyeongbokgung Palace on your right. The museum is located within the palace grounds, a short walk from the entrance.
