Getting There

  • Subway

    Start your journey at any major subway station in Seoul. If you're near Seoul Station, take Line 4 (the light blue line) towards Dongdaemun. Get off at the Gyeongbokgung Station (3 stops). Use Exit 2 to exit the station. Once outside, walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Cross the street and head to the main entrance of the palace. From there, you will see the Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae) on your left, just a short walk away.

    Find the nearest bus stop and look for buses that head towards Gyeongbokgung Palace. Buses 102, 172, 601, and 7212 frequently run to this area. Once you arrive at the Gyeongbokgung Palace stop, disembark and walk towards the palace entrance. After visiting the palace, head left, and you will soon arrive at the Blue House.
