Subway
From Seoul Station, take Line 1 (the blue line) towards Incheon. Get off at Dongdaemun Station (4 stops). Use exit 1 to exit the station. Once outside, walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Dongdaemun Gate, which is the starting point of the Seoul City Wall Trail.

From Myeongdong Station (Line 4, the light blue line), exit at Exit 6. Walk to the bus stop and take bus number 143 or 7212. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the Dongdaemun Historical Park stop. After getting off, walk towards the Dongdaemun Gate, which will be the entrance to the Seoul City Wall Trail.

If you are in the area of Insadong, you can walk to the Seoul City Wall Trail. From Insadong, head towards Jogyesa Temple and continue straight until you reach the main road. Turn right and walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the Dongdaemun Gate, the starting point of the trail.
