If you are further away in Myeong-dong and wish to take the subway, locate the Myeong-dong Station (Line 4). Enter the station and purchase a single journey ticket or use a T-money card (cost is approximately 1,250 KRW). Take the subway towards Dongdaemun History & Culture Park. Alight at the next stop, and you will find yourself at the heart of Myeong-dong. Exit the station using Exit 6, and you will be right in the main area.
