Getting There

Subway
Begin your journey at any subway station in Seoul. If you are near Line 1, board the train heading towards 'Seongdong' station. If you are near Line 2, you can transfer at 'Euljiro 1-ga' station. Once you arrive at 'City Hall' station on Line 1 or Line 2, exit the station via Exit 1 or Exit 2.

After exiting City Hall station, walk straight towards the main road, Sejong-daero. You will see the Deoksugung Palace entrance on your left. Walk along the palace wall until you reach the main entrance of Deoksugung. Jeonggwanheon is located within the Deoksugung Palace grounds. You may need to pay a small entrance fee to enter the palace.

If you prefer bus travel, find a nearby bus stop and take Bus No. 204, 405, or 172. Ask the driver to let you off at the 'Deoksugung Palace' stop. From there, the palace entrance will be a short walk. Follow the signs to Jeonggwanheon inside the palace grounds.
