If you are driving to Yulpo Beach, start from Gwangju, the capital city of South Jeolla Province. Head south on the Honam Expressway (Gwangju to Mokpo Expressway, Route 1) towards Mokpo. After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, take the exit for Boseong-gun. Follow the signs towards Boseong and then head towards Hoecheon-myeon. Continue along local roads until you reach Dong-yul-ri. Yulpo Beach is located at 544-13 Dong-yul-ri, Hoecheon-myeon, Boseong-gun. Note that parking is available near the beach, but may incur a small fee.

To reach Yulpo Beach using public transportation, start at Gwangju Bus Terminal. Take an intercity bus to Boseong-gun; the journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Boseong Bus Terminal, you can take a local bus or taxi to Dong-yul-ri. The local bus may take approximately 30 minutes, while a taxi would be quicker. Ensure you have local currency for bus fares and taxi rides.
