    If you are in the central area of Jangan-gu, head towards the nearest subway station, Suwon Station. From the station, exit onto Gyeongsu-daero. Walk straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Buksu-dong. Turn left onto Buksu-dong Street and continue walking for another 250 meters. Hwahongmun Gate (Buksumun) will be on your right. Look for the large stone gate; it’s hard to miss!

    From your location in Jangan-gu, find the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 11 or 13 towards Paldal-gu. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop named ‘Hwahongmun’ (화홍문), which is the closest stop to the gate. After getting off the bus, walk a short distance of about 100 meters, and you will see Hwahongmun Gate (Buksumun) right in front of you.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many bike rental stations in Jangan-gu. Cycle towards Buksu-dong via the bike lanes that connect to Gyeongsu-daero. The ride is approximately 2 kilometers and should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the area of Buksu-dong, look for signs directing you to Hwahongmun Gate (Buksumun), which will be easily visible as you approach the historical site.
