Walking
From the central area of Jangan-gu, head towards the main road (Yeonghwa-ro). Walk south until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Hwaseong Fortress. The entrance to Hwaseong Fortress is located at 320-2 Yeonghwa-dong, which will be on your left side.

Public Bus
If you prefer to take public transport, locate the nearest bus stop in Jangan-gu. Take Bus No. 13 or 37 heading towards Hwaseong Fortress. The bus fare is approximately 1,200 KRW. Get off at the 'Hwaseong Fortress' stop, which is just a short walk from the main entrance of the fortress.

You can also reach Hwaseong Fortress via the Suwon Subway Line. Head to Suwon Station, which is the nearest subway station. From the station, take Exit 4 and walk straight for about 15 minutes towards Hwaseong Fortress. Follow the signs directing you to the fortress.
