Getting There

• Bus

  From Almería city center, head to the Almería bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Almería) located at Avenida de la Estación, 1. Take any bus heading towards the town of Carboneras, as these buses frequently stop at key locations along the way. The journey takes about 45 minutes. You can buy your ticket at the station or directly from the bus driver. Once you arrive at Carboneras, you will need to transfer to a local taxi that can take you to the Arrecife de las Sirenas, which is approximately a 15-minute drive away.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Almería. Start by heading south towards Playa de las Almadrabillas. Follow the coastal road (N-340) towards Cabo de Gata. Continue on the bike path until you reach the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. From there, follow the signs towards Arrecife de las Sirenas. The ride is approximately 25 kilometers and offers stunning coastal views, but be prepared for some uphill sections.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy long walks, you can take a scenic route starting from Almería. Begin at the harbor area of Almería and walk towards the coast, following the paths that lead through the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. This journey will take several hours (approximately 6-7 hours) and is best suited for seasoned hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water and wear appropriate footwear, as some trails may be rugged. Along the way, you’ll experience breathtaking views and may encounter various flora and fauna native to the region.
