Start by taking the L1 (Red Line) from any station in Sants-Montjuïc towards Fondo. Get off at the 'Universitat' station. From 'Universitat', transfer to the L2 (Purple Line) and head towards Paral·lel. At the 'Paral·lel' station, transfer to the Funicular de Montjuïc, which will take you directly to the top of Montjuïc hill. Once you exit the funicular, follow the signs leading to Montjuïc Castle, which is approximately a 10-minute walk uphill along the paths.

You can also take the bus. Board the bus number 150 from the nearest bus stop in Sants-Montjuïc (such as 'Carrer de Lleida - C. de la Creu Coberta'). This bus will take you directly to Montjuïc Castle. The journey takes about 20 minutes. After getting off at the 'Castell' stop, follow the pathway leading to the castle entrance.

If you prefer to walk and enjoy the scenic views, you can reach Montjuïc Castle on foot. Start from the Plaça d'Espanya, which is a well-known spot in Sants-Montjuïc. From here, walk up Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina and continue onto the steps leading to the castle. This route will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace, and offers beautiful views of the city along the way.
