Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are at the Gran Vía, head towards the Plaza de Circular. From there, walk south towards the Bilbao Estación de Abando (Abando Train Station). Continue straight until you reach the riverbank of the Nervión River. Once you reach the river, turn right and follow the river path. You will see the beautiful Arriaga Theater on your left side as you approach. Arriaga Plaza is right next to the theater; simply cross the street to enter the plaza.

  • Metro

    Take Line 1 (the Bilbao Metro) from any station towards Etxebarri. Get off at the Abando station. Once you exit the station, head towards the Plaza de Circular. From there, walk south towards the Bilbao Estación de Abando (Abando Train Station). Continue straight until you reach the riverbank of the Nervión River. Turn right and follow the river path until you see the Arriaga Theater on your left side. Arriaga Plaza is adjacent to the theater.

  • Tram

    Board the Bilbao Tram at any tram stop along the route. Get off at the 'Arriaga' stop, which is very close to your destination. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Arriaga Theater, and you will find Arriaga Plaza right next to it. The plaza is easily accessible from the tram stop.
