Take Line 1 (the light blue line) from any station in Madrid towards 'Valdecarros'. If you are starting from 'Sol', take the train from 'Sol' station, which is the closest metro station to many central locations. Disembark at 'Opera' station after 2 stops. Once you exit the station, head towards Plaza de Oriente. From there, walk towards the Plaza Mayor by taking the street that leads you through Calle de los Reyes, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Upon reaching Plaza Mayor, the Estatua de Felipe III will be located in the center of the square.

You can take any bus that stops near Plaza Mayor. Buses 3, 26, 39, 148, and 146 all have stops at or near Plaza Mayor. If you are at 'Cibeles', take bus number 27 and get off at 'Plaza de Oriente'. From there, walk towards Plaza Mayor, which will take about 5 minutes. Once you arrive at Plaza Mayor, you will see Estatua de Felipe III in the center of the square.

If you are already in the vicinity of the Gran Via or Puerta del Sol, you can easily walk to Plaza Mayor. From Puerta del Sol, head southwest on Calle Mayor for about 10 minutes. As you walk, you will pass by various shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach Plaza Mayor. The Estatua de Felipe III is located in the center of the plaza, making it a prominent landmark.
