Bus
From the center of Murcia, head to the main bus terminal, Estación de Autobuses de Murcia. Take the bus line 44 towards Cartagena. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cartagena bus station, exit the station and walk towards the main road. From there, take Calle del Cid, continue straight until you reach Plaza Puerta de la Serreta, where the Historical Military Museum of Cartagena is located.
Train
Make your way to the Murcia del Carmen train station. Purchase a ticket for the train to Cartagena. The train ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Cartagena train station, exit the station and head towards the main road. Walk straight along Avenida de la Libertad until you reach Plaza Puerta de la Serreta. The museum will be on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Murcia. Head towards the bike path that leads to Cartagena. The ride is approximately 30 km and will take about 2 hours. Follow the path towards the coast, and once you reach Cartagena, navigate to Plaza Puerta de la Serreta, where the museum is located.
Walking
If you find yourself in the nearby area of Cartagena, you can walk to the museum. From the city center, head southwest on Calle Mayor and continue until you reach Plaza Puerta de la Serreta. The Historical Military Museum of Cartagena will be at the square.
