Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Pamplona, which is the capital of Navarre. From the A-15 motorway, take the exit for Pamplona. Once in the city, follow signs for the city center. Plaza del Castillo is located at Pl. del Castillo, 31001 Pamplona, Navarra. There are several parking options nearby, including underground parking at Plaza de la Paz and other public lots. Expect to pay around €1.50 to €2.00 per hour.

• Bus

  For public transportation, you can take a bus to Pamplona from various towns in Navarre. Look for the buses operated by La Burundesa or ALSA, which frequently connect major towns to Pamplona. Once you arrive at the main bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Pamplona), it's about a 10 to 15-minute walk to Plaza del Castillo. Simply exit the bus station, head southeast toward Avenida de Zaragoza, and follow the signs to the city center.

• Train

  If you are traveling by train, you can take a Renfe train to Pamplona from cities like Madrid or Bilbao. Once you arrive at the Pamplona train station (Estación de tren de Pamplona), you can either walk or take a taxi to Plaza del Castillo. Walking will take approximately 20 minutes; head east on Avenida de Bayona, then turn right onto Calle de la Estrella, which leads directly to the plaza.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Navarre to Plaza del Castillo. Taxis are generally available at major transport hubs and can be hailed on the street. The fare will depend on your starting point, but a trip from the Pamplona train or bus station to the plaza should cost around €5-€10.
