If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the main entrance of Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. Drive towards Torla-Ordesa via the A-138 road. After approximately 7 km, you will arrive at the town of Torla. Continue to follow signs for the park. Once you reach Torla, look for the signs directing you to Barranco del Cebollar. The access road may be narrow and winding, so drive carefully. There is a parking area near the trailhead where you can leave your vehicle.

For those relying on public transportation, begin your journey by taking a bus from the nearest major city, Huesca, to Torla. Buses run regularly from Huesca to Torla, and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Torla, you can either walk to the Barranco del Cebollar trailhead, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the bus stop, or check for local taxi services to reach the trailhead more quickly.

Once you reach the Barranco del Cebollar trailhead, begin your hike towards Salto del Carpín. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The hike to Salto del Carpín is approximately 2.5 km one way and takes around 1–1.5 hours, depending on your pace. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear.
