Car
From the main entrance of Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, head towards Torla and take the A-135 road towards the town of Gavarnie-Gèdre. This drive is approximately 30 km and will take around 40 minutes. Once in Gavarnie, follow the signs to Via ferrata coumély, which is located just outside the village. There is a small parking area near the starting point of the via ferrata, but be aware that it may be busy during peak season. Parking may incur a small fee, so keep some change handy.

If you are relying on public transportation, take a bus from the nearby town of Broto to Gavarnie. This bus service typically operates during the summer months and may not have frequent schedules, so check the timetable in advance. Once you arrive in Gavarnie, you can either walk to Via ferrata coumély, which is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop, or consider hiring a local taxi if you prefer not to walk. The taxi ride should take approximately 10 minutes and will cost around €10-15.
