If you are starting from the Oviedo Cathedral, head southeast on Calle de la Catedral towards Plaza de Alfonso II. Continue straight onto Calle de San Vicente. From there, turn left onto Calle de la Independencia and continue straight until you see Plaza 19 de Octubre. Mercado El Fontán will be located on your right.

If you're near the bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Oviedo), take Bus Line 3 or 4 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Calle Uría, 14'. From there, walk along Calle Uría towards Plaza de la Escandalera. At Plaza de la Escandalera, turn left onto Calle de la Independencia, and continue until you reach Plaza 19 de Octubre. Mercado El Fontán will be on your right.
