After approximately 15 km, you will reach the junction for the AS-114 road towards Arenas de Cabrales. Turn onto AS-114 and drive for about 12 km until you reach the village of Poncebos. From Poncebos, you will need to park your car at the designated parking area, which may charge a fee of around €5 for the day. From here, you will proceed on foot.

    After parking in Poncebos, follow the well-marked trail leading to Bulnes, which is about a 2.5-hour hike. The path is steep and may require good walking shoes. As you ascend, you'll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Upon reaching Bulnes, you will find signs directing you towards El Castillo, a historic site located in the village.

  • Public Transportation
