From Anuradhapura town, head northwest on the A9 road. After approximately 25 km, you will see a sign for Wilpattu National Park on your left. Turn left onto the entrance road and follow the signs for the park entrance. The drive should take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

From Anuradhapura town, take a bus heading towards Puttalam from the main bus station. Ask the driver to drop you at the Wilpattu National Park entrance. The bus ride takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive, you will need to walk a short distance to the park entrance.
