    If you are in the central area of Anuradhapura, start at the Anuradhapura Museum. Head southeast on the Main Street (also known as 'New Town Road') and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the 4th Century B.C. Bodhi Tree (Sri Maha Bodhi). From here, continue straight for another 500 meters. You will pass by the historic Ruwanwelisaya Stupa on your left. Keep going until you reach a small roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit and continue walking for 300 meters until you see the Samadhi Buddha Statue on your right, located at coordinates 8.3698774, 80.3981853.

  • Bicycle

    If you're renting a bicycle, start from the Anuradhapura Museum and cycle southeast along Main Street (New Town Road) for approximately 1 kilometer. Turn left at the junction where the Bodhi Tree is located. Continue cycling straight for another 500 meters, passing Ruwanwelisaya Stupa on your left. When you reach the roundabout, take the first exit and cycle another 300 meters until you see the Samadhi Buddha Statue on your right side.
