Car

To reach Duwili Ella Waterfall by car, start from Badulla town. Take the A5 highway towards Kalthota. Follow the A5 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction near Kalthota. Turn left onto Duwili Ella Road. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers. You will find a small parking area at the entrance to the waterfall site. A small fee may be charged for parking, typically around 100 LKR.

Public Transportation

From Badulla, take a bus heading towards Kalthota; buses frequently depart from the main bus station. The fare is approximately 50 LKR. Once you reach Kalthota, you can either take a tuk-tuk (fare around 200-300 LKR) or walk approximately 5 kilometers to Duwili Ella Waterfall via Duwili Ella Road. If walking, be sure to ask locals for directions if needed, as the path can be a bit tricky.

Walking

If you choose to walk from Kalthota to Duwili Ella Waterfall, start on Duwili Ella Road. The path is scenic but can be uneven, so wear appropriate footwear.
