Car
If you are driving from Badulla town, take the A5 road towards Hali-Ela. Continue for about 12 km until you reach the junction at Hali-Ela. Turn right onto the B31 road towards Udadumbara. After approximately 9 km, you will reach Udadumbara. Look for signs towards Kalugala Gerandi Ella Waterfall. It is a further 4 km drive along a gravel road. You may need a 4WD vehicle due to the road conditions. Parking is available near the waterfall entrance.

From Badulla, you can catch a bus to Udadumbara. Buses leave from the main bus stand and the fare is approximately 50 LKR. Upon reaching Udadumbara, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk to Kalugala Gerandi Ella Waterfall, which should cost around 200-300 LKR for the short ride. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The waterfall is about 4 km away from Udadumbara.
