Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the Galle Fort Main Entrance, walk straight on Hospital Street for about 500 meters. You'll pass several shops and cafes along the way. Continue until you reach the Point Utrecht Bastion, which will be on your right. The Galle Britse fort Vuurtoren is located at the end of this bastion, easily visible with its tall structure against the ocean backdrop.

From Galle Lighthouse, head east on Lighthouse Street. After about 250 meters, take a left onto Hospital Street. Follow Hospital Street for approximately 300 meters until you reach Point Utrecht Bastion on your left. The lighthouse is situated right at the edge of the fort.
