Walking
Head towards the Galle Fort area, which is a well-known landmark in Galle. From the entrance of Galle Fort, walk straight towards the main road (Lovers Leap Road). Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the A2 highway (Galle-Mirissa Road). At this junction, turn left onto the A2 highway. You will pass through some scenic views and local shops. Continue for about 15 km until you reach Mirissa. Once in Mirissa, look for the local signposts that direct you to the beach area. The Kumara and whales office is located on Market Infront Road, just a short walk from the beach.

From your location in Galle, head to the nearest tuk-tuk stand, which you can find near the Galle Fort or in the downtown area. Inform the driver that you need to go to 'Kumara and whales office' in Mirissa. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to Market Infront Road where the office is located. Make sure to confirm the price before getting in.

Locate the Galle bus station, which is near the Galle Fort. Look for buses going to Mirissa, and get on one that displays 'Mirissa' on its front. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Mirissa, ask the conductor or locals for 'Kumara and whales office'. It is located on Market Infront Road, just a short walk from the main bus stop.
