From your current location in Hikkaduwa, find a tuk-tuk stand or hail a tuk-tuk on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Whale Watching Mirissa' located on A2, Mirissa. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic ride along the coastal road. Once you arrive, you can spot the entrance to the whale watching office along the main road.

Public Bus
Head to the main bus station in Hikkaduwa, which is located near the Hikkaduwa Beach area. Look for a bus heading towards Mirissa; these buses are frequent. Once on the bus, stay seated for about 30 minutes. You will need to get off at the Mirissa bus stop. From there, walk straight for about 200 meters until you reach A2. The whale watching office will be on your right side.

Walking
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can walk to Mirissa from Hikkaduwa. Start by walking along the beach towards the south. After reaching the end of Hikkaduwa Beach, continue on the coastal road, which will take you directly to Mirissa. It’s about a 7 km walk, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. The whale watching office is located on A2 in Mirissa.
