    If you are driving from Hambantota Town, head northwest on Galle Road (A2) towards the town of Hungama. After about 20 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Hungama and turn left onto the B99 road. Continue on B99 for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the junction at Bata Atha South. Turn right onto Bata Atha South road and follow it for about 1 kilometer. The Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary will be on your left at 95/1, Bata Atha South.
