Car
If you are driving from Kandy city center, head southwest on D.S. Senanayake Veediya towards Peradeniya. Continue straight for about 4 km. Once you reach the Peradeniya area, look for signs indicating the Orchid Project. The address is 152, Orchid Project, Augustawattha, Kandy, 20000. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
You can take a bus from Kandy main bus station to Peradeniya. The buses to Peradeniya are frequent and will take you directly to the Peradeniya area in about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, it is a short walk (approximately 1 km) to the Orchid Project at 152, Augustawattha. You can ask locals for directions if needed. The bus fare is typically around 40-50 LKR.
Tuk-Tuk
For a more local experience, consider taking a tuk-tuk from Kandy city center directly to the Orchid Project. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which usually ranges from 300 to 500 LKR depending on your starting point. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes.
