If you are starting from the Kandy Lake area, head southeast along the lake's edge towards the Kandy Museum. Continue past the museum, following the road until you reach the intersection with the main road (Peradeniya Road). Turn left onto Peradeniya Road and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the entrance to the British Garrison Cemetery on your right, just past the Kandy General Hospital.

If you are near the Kandy Railway Station, exit the station and head east towards the main road (Peradeniya Road). Once you reach Peradeniya Road, turn right and walk about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the British Garrison Cemetery on your left, shortly after you pass the Kandy General Hospital.

For those starting from the Temple of the Tooth, exit the temple and walk towards the Kandy Lake. Follow the path around the lake until you reach the Kandy Museum.
