If you are in the city center of Kandy, you can walk to the British Garrison Cemetery. Start at the Kandy Lake and head northwest towards the main road. Follow the road along the lake until you reach the intersection with the Sri Dalada Veediya (Temple of the Tooth road). Turn left onto Sri Dalada Veediya and continue straight for about 400 meters. You will pass the Kandy Railway Station on your left. Continue straight until you reach the Kandy Clock Tower. From the Clock Tower, continue straight on the same road, which will turn into Kandy-Mahiyangana Road. The cemetery is located on the left side of the road after about 1 kilometer. Look for the entrance marked 'British Garrison Cemetery'.
