Starting from the Kandy City Center, head towards the Kandy Lake. Walk towards the Kandy Museum and continue straight to the main road, which is the A26. Once you reach the A26, turn left and walk along this road until you reach the junction with the B365 road. At this junction, turn right onto the B365 road. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signboards indicating directions to Gatambe. After a short while, you will arrive at Gatambe New Bridge, where Diyakapanathota is located.
