Walking
From the Kandy city center, head towards the Kandy Lake. Walk along the lake until you reach the main road (Temple Road). Continue on Temple Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Rajapihilla Mawatha. At the junction, take a right onto Rajapihilla Mawatha. Walk approximately 500 meters until you see the Giragama Walawwa sign on your left. The entrance is located at 7JVP+P9P, Kandy.
Tuk-tuk
From your location in Kandy, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Tell the driver to take you to Giragama Walawwa, located at 7JVP+P9P, Kandy. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start your journey.
Public Bus
From the Kandy bus station, take a bus heading towards Gampola or any local bus that travels along the Kandy-Gampola route. You will need to get down at the Giragama bus stop. After getting off, walk back about 100 meters towards the direction of Kandy until you see the entrance to Giragama Walawwa on your right at 7JVP+P9P, Kandy.
