The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. The driver will take you along the Peradeniya-Badulla-Chenkaladi Highway. Look for the entrance sign of Hakgala Botanical Garden on your left. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.

    Head to the Kandy Bus Station located near the city center. Look for buses heading to Nuwara Eliya or Badulla. Make sure to ask the conductor if they stop at Hakgala. The bus ride will take about 40-60 minutes. Once you reach the Hakgala stop, get off and walk back a short distance to find the entrance to the Hakgala Botanical Garden on your right side.
