If you are starting from Kandy Railway Station, exit the station and head south on the A1 road towards the city center. Walk approximately 1.2 kilometers. You will pass the Kandy City Center on your left. Continue straight until you reach the intersection near the Kandy Lake. Turn left onto Temple Road, and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the entrance to the Sri Vishnu Devala on your right at Temple Square.

From your location in Kandy, find a tuk-tuk stand or use a ride-hailing app to request a tuk-tuk. Tell the driver to take you to 'Temple Square'. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Temple Square, the Sri Vishnu Devala will be visible; just walk a short distance to the entrance.

Locate a local bus stop and board a bus heading towards the city center. Most buses will stop near Kandy Lake. Get off at the Kandy Lake bus stop. From there, walk towards the lake and take the road leading to Temple Road. Continue along Temple Road for about 500 meters. The Sri Vishnu Devala will be on your right at Temple Square.
