Walking
If you are starting from the Kandy Lake area, head southwest along the lake's shore towards the main road (Dalada Veediya). Once you reach Dalada Veediya, turn left and walk for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Rajapihilla Mawatha. Turn right onto Rajapihilla Mawatha. Continue straight for approximately 600 meters, and you will see the entrance to Royal Palace Park on your left.

From the Kandy City Center (KCC), exit the mall and head towards the main road (Dalada Veediya). Turn left and walk along the road for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Rajapihilla Mawatha. Turn right onto Rajapihilla Mawatha and walk straight for 600 meters. The Royal Palace Park will be on your left.
