Car

If you're driving from Kilinochchi town, start by taking the A9 road heading north. Continue on the A9 for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction for the A35 road towards Pachchilapalli. Turn left onto the A35 and drive for about 5 km. You will see signs for ReeCha on your left as you approach Kottandarkulam. The total driving distance from Kilinochchi is about 35 km and the journey should take roughly 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public Transportation - Bus

From Kilinochchi town, take a local bus heading towards Pachchilapalli. Buses run frequently, and the fare is typically around 50 LKR. The journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Pachchilapalli, ask the conductor to drop you off at Kottandarkulam. From the bus stop, it’s a short 10-15 minute walk to ReeCha, following the signs. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip, as service may vary.

Taxi or Tuk-Tuk

For a more comfortable option, you can hire a taxi or tuk-tuk from Kilinochchi town. The fare for a tuk-tuk to ReeCha from Kilinochchi is approximately 1,500 LKR to 2,000 LKR, while a taxi may charge around 2,500 LKR. The travel time will be about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand if using a tuk-tuk.
