If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Kandy. Head east on the A26 road towards the Hunnasgiriya area. Follow the A26 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction near Hunnasgiriya. Turn onto the Hunnasgiriya - Meemure Road, which will lead you towards Corbett's Gap. Continue for about 10 kilometers; watch for signs to Corbett's Gap. The last section of the road may be narrow and winding, so drive cautiously. Upon reaching Corbett's Gap, you will find a designated parking area.

Public Transportation
To reach Corbett's Gap using public transportation, take a bus from Kandy to Hunnasgiriya. Buses frequently depart from the Kandy bus station, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Hunnasgiriya, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Corbett's Gap. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 1,000 LKR (Sri Lankan Rupees) and takes roughly 20 minutes along the Hunnasgiriya - Meemure Road. Ensure you negotiate the fare before starting your ride.

If you are already within the Knuckles Mountain Range and near Hunnasgiriya, you can hike to Corbett's Gap. Start at the Hunnasgiriya town center, and follow the Hunnasgiriya - Meemure Road on foot. The hike is approximately 5 kilometers long and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you carry sufficient water and wear appropriate hiking gear, as the path can be steep and uneven.
