If you are traveling by car, head towards the entrance of the Knuckles Mountain Range from the nearest town, which is Kandy. Take the A26 highway towards Hunnasgiriya. Continue on the A26 until you reach the turnoff for the Knuckles Range, which is well-signposted. Once you turn off, follow the road signs leading to the Knuckles Conservation Centre. The drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. There may be parking available at the conservation center, but ensure to check for any fees, which can range from 1000 to 2000 LKR.

To reach the Knuckles Mountain Range via public transportation, first take a bus from Kandy to Hunnasgiriya. Buses run frequently from the Kandy main bus station, and the fare is around 100 LKR. Once you arrive at Hunnasgiriya, you will need to hire a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to take you to the Knuckles Conservation Centre. This ride will cost approximately 500 to 1000 LKR and takes about 30 minutes. Be sure to confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.
