If you are driving from Kandy, take the A26 road towards Matale. Continue on the A26 for about 35 km until you reach the town of Matale. Once in Matale, follow the directions to the Pitawala Riverston Basecamp. Turn onto the road leading to Riverston, which is well-marked. The roads may be winding and narrow, so drive carefully. After approximately 15 km, you will arrive at Riverston, where you can park your vehicle near the basecamp.
