Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Matara, head northeast on the A2 road towards Kamburugamuwa. Continue for about 12 km until you reach the Kotapola junction. Turn left onto the B100 road. After approximately 5 km, look for signs leading you to Kiruwana Ella Waterfall. The waterfall is about 2 km down a side road from the B100. Parking is available near the waterfall entrance. Be prepared for a short walk to reach the waterfall.

Public Transportation
From Matara, take a bus heading towards Kotapola. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and buses run frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive at Kotapola, you can hire a tuk-tuk to Kiruwana Ella Waterfall for approximately LKR 500-700, which is a 15-minute ride. Ensure you agree on the fare beforehand with the tuk-tuk driver.
