    If you are driving, use the coordinates 7.9406, 80.7650 to set your GPS to National Park Safari in Mailattawa. From the entrance of Minneriya National Park, head east on the main road (A11) for about 5 kilometers. When you reach the village of Mailattawa, follow the signs directing you to the safari area. There is a small parking area available near the entrance to the safari site. Parking fees may apply, so keep some cash on hand.

    To reach National Park Safari using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the Minneriya bus station to Mailattawa. Look for buses heading towards Polonnaruwa, as they often stop in Mailattawa. The bus ride should take about 30-40 minutes.
