If you are driving from Minneriya National Park, head towards the main road and exit the park. Follow the signs to Habarana, which is located approximately 15 kilometers from the park entrance. Once you reach Habarana, you will see Trincomalee Road. Take a left onto Trincomalee Road and continue for about 5 kilometers. The Hurulu Eco Park - Wild Elephant Safari will be on your right. Make sure to look for signage indicating the park entrance.

To get to Hurulu Eco Park using public transportation, you can take a bus from the Minneriya bus stop to Habarana. Buses run frequently, and the fare is quite inexpensive (approximately 50 LKR). Upon reaching Habarana, walk towards Trincomalee Road and take a left. The park is about a 5-kilometer walk from the bus terminal. Alternatively, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Habarana to the park for a fee of around 300-500 LKR, which is more convenient, especially in the heat.
