Getting There

    From Jaffna, take the A9 highway south towards Kilinochchi. After approximately 30 kilometers, keep an eye out for the signs pointing to the ferry terminal for Delft Island, located at Kurikadduvan. Follow the signs to the ferry terminal, where you will need to park your car (parking fees may apply, check locally). The ferry to Delft Island takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Delft Island, head towards Delft Centre and follow the signs to Queen's Tower, which is approximately a 10-minute drive from the ferry landing.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a bus from Jaffna to Kilinochchi, which is about a 1-2 hour ride depending on traffic. Once in Kilinochchi, switch to a bus that goes to Kurikadduvan ferry terminal. After arriving at the ferry terminal, you’ll need to pay for your ferry ride to Delft Island (approximately 100 LKR per person). The ferry ride takes around 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Delft Island, you can either hire a tuk-tuk to reach Queen's Tower, which is about a 10-minute ride, or walk if you prefer.
