Getting There

    If you are driving from Kilinochchi town, head south on A9 towards Jaffna. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the town of Chundikuli. As you approach Chundikuli, look for the M274+33Q sign on your right which indicates the entrance to Pannai Causeway. Turn onto this road and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you arrive at the causeway. Parking is available along the road near the entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Pannai Causeway using public transportation, take a bus from Kilinochchi bus station heading towards Jaffna. Buses are frequent and the journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Chundikuli. From the bus stop, walk south for about 1 kilometer until you reach the M274+33Q sign for the causeway. You can also take a tuk-tuk for the last stretch if needed, which may cost around 200-300 LKR.
