Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Nuwara Eliya town, head east on the A7 road. After approximately 3 kilometers, turn left onto the Kande Ela Road. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork and follow the road for another 1.5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for signs indicating Parakumpura Ella Falls. You will reach a small parking area where you can leave your vehicle. From there, it is a short walk of about 200 meters to the falls.

    To reach Parakumpura Ella Falls via public transportation, start at the Nuwara Eliya Bus Station. Board a local bus heading towards Kande Ela. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes and will cost roughly 50 LKR. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Parakumpura stop.
